A highly useful tool
The money being spent in League One this season is mental, we canât really compete. Average wage is now ÂŁ6k a week apparently (was just under 5k last season), some big money clubs have been spending like crazy inflating wages way too much.

Decent career at West Ham / Crystal Palace, obviously his age at 35 means he wouldnât be expensive and could help guide the young backline.
Or if you want a younger option - James Laurence, Welsh CB with loads of experience in Europe at a high level. 31 years old.

Lawrence has spent a crapload of time in the last two years injured, including most of last season recovering from surgery
Tomkins has spent most of his time on the bench/not being chosen, together with a previous injury history

Perhaps the club will be doing a game day lottery. Every week the club will contact 5 or 6 lucky members to see if they want to play that weekend. You may be lucky enough to score a free away trip to play in the Champions League
