Oops - that makes much more sense.
I had read Macarthur and assumed the NPL team… which they obviously are.
So back to supporting Spirit then.
Now a reformed entity, but the original Spirit was kind of a precursor to Sydney FC as one of the first non-country aligned clubs.
Hopefully I can get along to Olympic Kingsway and boo Adelaide.
Fuck Spirit. Hard.

Well that game got interesting
Some quality goals in the Newy vs Macarthur game.
I would include S-Melbourne in the trio of WSW/Victory of clubs i don’t enjoy winning things. Probably an attitude of theirs thing. But it’s good for the game and all that.
They won their Australia cup game to advance but i didn’t think it would come like this from that 3rd goal…

Don’t think I’ve watched a second of this since we got bundled out, but heading to Christie Park tonight with a mate and his son who plays NYL for Spirit.
While not wanting to cause them undue embarrassment I’ll still take requests if anyone would like any specific regards passed on to the Melby Shame.
