Australia Cup 2024 - 10 Year Anniversary Edition

Indeed, though I ws posting about MCE as they held off glory

My mistake, I thought it was you who went to Christie. I know how much you love Spirit. Must have been someone else though.

Jack Duncan was never touted as a possible European-level, international goalkeeper though.

Oli Sail came onto the scene for the Nix, had 2 or 3 big games, made some impressive saves, and then was about as unpredictable for Wellington as Melbournian weather.

In his last season for Wellington he made some absoloute howlers that would make Janjetovic blush, goes to Perth, and just continues to be abysmal.

Jack Duncan is arguably a better shot stopper.

I forgot this shitty little comp was still going, but currently the Pissants are 1-up on the Favelas after 35mins in the quarter finals.

(South Melbourne won their match last night, beating Hume City.)

Also had no idea until updating Fotmob at 8pm and seeing the fixture already 30 mins in.

Tuned in to see 10 mins of pure AUFC domination, but true to form they still coughed up two glorious chances to Wests on the stroke of HT.

‘mon you pissants.

Another year, another failure at Silverware.

The game isn’t over yet.

Just realized lol

No Juan Mata in the team sheet. Has he already been told to train by himself?

Wanderers out at the quarter final stage. Can I say they finished eighth in the cup, too?

I stand by my earlier post. :smirk:

Hehehehehehehehhehehe

Give him credit, the guy has been saving himself up for the past 4 years for his debut. So much so that he’s played the equivalent of 1107 minutes or 12.3 games during that period. He was so excited last year that he only played for 11 whole minutes in Japan!

Didn’t even look at the team sheet last night, just knew Mata wasn’t on it after seeing 5 minutes of the game without him getting a mention yet.

I don’t think he has arrived in the country yet.

Tomorrow morning, 6am apparently.

Gotta be a lot of baking in the favelas this arvo.

Are we thinking they’ll go for sprinkles, cake toppers or chocolate decorations?

Will they endorse the new A-League women sponsorship and use Ninja products? Or will they try to dress like Ninjas?

If Kurto was not playing, Macarthur would not be winning.
