Stamatelopoulos has been injured for Motherwell over the season. Quad injury it sounds like.
Kane replaced by Irankunda, Irankunda gets the assist in this goal.
Love his celebration for providing an assist!
He seems to have done well there so far pre-season.
Canāt really see him getting much game time with the first team once competition starts though - even in cups or the like. Probably not a bad plan for him if he ends up first team training and bedding in for a few months to start the season I reckon.
Itās a weird one. Heās definitely played a large number of first grade friendlies, and youād assume heād be loaned out by now. Maybe a chance for him to be a bench player plus reserve grade?
Thereās a big push from Dortmund and Leverkusen to sign good players, so Bayern might find it difficult to do their usual shopping spree
Heās at the age where six months without any starting football is going to be worth getting the experience in a very elite squad. Even going out on loan in January with that under his belt will make him a potential starter in a lower end big 5 club.
Sarpreet Singh looked the goods in his first pre-season at Bayern, so I agree its best not to read too much into Irankundaās pre-season so far. He needs a good season of being mentally toughened up on the field and maybe on the training ground as well. Thereās no doubt heās talented and is in a good place to have it pushed in the right direction. I donāt think he will just get thrown out on loan to a club/league that wonāt help his development.
My (probably incorrect) recollection is that by this time heād been farmed off on loan or to 2nd team along with most other youngsters. The difference is that this time around, when that cull happened (just before the trip to Korea) Nestory was among the handful that stayed with the first team.
Singh is out of contractā¦ putting it out there
Seems like just yesterday he was posting casual selfies hanging out with Thomas MĆ¼ller.
All in anticipation of Brenton Speed bringing up such a famous friendship after returning to the ALM a decade later, tail between his legs.
Sorry for those without access to OptusSports, (Not sure if blocked or not).
But I really enjoyed this 30min doco of Jarred Gillet.

That then made me think of something else, Australians in the EPL.
A manager in top 6 club, a full time EPL referee. Playersā¦
" Joe Gauci was a mid-season signing for Aston Villa last season, and he is currently deputy to Emiliano Martinez in goal, though is yet to make a senior appearance for the side.
Two Aussies will be joining the Premier League after being promoted with Ipswich Town, with Cameron Burgess and Massimo Luongo playing a key role in returning the Tractor Boys to the Premier League for the first time in over 20 years.
Youngsters Cameron Peupion and Garang Kuol are on the books of Brighton and Newcastle respectively, but may be moved out on loan in search of more game time."
The rest of that article has some great lists of Aussies in EPL.
Random, but Daniel Bennie got 10 mins off the bench for QPR the other night in the League Cup. Good on him.
Full list of all the Aussies who have played in the EPL. 55, if my counting is accurate.
Not good news for Luongo, Ipswich are about to sign Kalvin Phillips on loan for the season
I read that as Kevin Phillips and got mildly worried ā¦
Itās pretty wild that Clare Hunt has gone from mid-table mediocrity in the ALW to Matildas selection to PSG to the WSL in the space of 18 months. Very impressive.
