+1. I hope the FFA have been playing it coy, like “no worries Arnie, we’ll sit down after it’s over” and now they can just hand him the pen and paper like it was the plan all along.
I know he doesn’t give a toss about the haters and social media trolls, but public sentiment feeds the media / clickbait narrative and so now would be a great time to capitalise on all the positive vibes and lock him in for another 4 years. The foundation is there to build upon and I don’t see Arnie having a fucking sook like Ange did and turning them down if the offer is there, the NT’s fortunes are too important to him.
Ripping it up and starting again now would be madness.
