Whatever the conditions and match situation, beating Bangladesh only 2-0 (and one goal appears to be a large stroke of luck) is really poor. We are surely much, much better than that.
Fair bit of Arnold out on Facebook today which is to be expected. A lot focusing on him playing Mitch Duke seemingly no matter what, which in fairness warrants some ridicule.
But its the utter lack of reason that continually mystifies. One guy said Arnie shouldve been sacked after the world cup. I mean what the actual fuck?
But then looking for intelligent thought amongst this bunch is a futile enterprise. I remember one guy once calling him “Shitnold”. Imagine thinking that Shitnold passes muster. Imagine thinking thats an adequate enough burn to post on a public forum that literally everyone you know will read. I mean, if his name was Lipnold or something then i guess “Shitnold” would at least kind of rhyme. But, fucking hell thats deplorable, thats the level of discourse we’re wading into with these mouth breathers though.

Look getting only a 2-0 win whilst largely playing a full strength team bar Ryan and with Irankunda in is really a waste. Should have seen Nisbet, Circati, Stama, Devlin etc. Not an Arnie out but definitely a fair one for criticisms of him getting it wrong, which I realise isnt what youre talking about

Early rounds.
Needed a win to qualify top of group.
2-0. Away game on a crap pitch. Job done.
Was it impressive. No.
Did it lack compared to the 7-0 at home. Yes.
But who cares.
It’s the next round, drawn on 27 June, that will be important.
3 groups of 6 - top 2 in each group go straight to 2026 WC. 3rd places face more games to qualify.
Ideally the 20 June rankings will push us just ahead of South Korea so we end up in Pot 1 and definitely avoid Japan and Iran.

I think you’re right. However, at this stage, its very clear that Arnie is living rent free in the heads of most filth and Western Suburbs fans. It’s absolutely free money for us.

Mitch Duke being selected right now is not the craziest option.
Sure he is not getting a huge amount of game time at his club but he is playing in a league that is active right now, he isn’t at the end of a long season like everyone else, and he is scoring goals for a team that is at the top of the league.
For match fitness and fatigue level, he is probably closer to full energy levels than the rest of the squad.

That is true, but I hope we see Stamatelopoulos get some minutes against Palestine after the season he’s had. I also see no reason why Circati shouldn’t start.
If WA seceded from the federation then we wouldn’t have to wait until 10:10pm tonight to watch the Socceroos. 
Really not sure what those types of ‘fans’ want - We have won all games without conceding a goal all whilst giving some new options a chance in the first team.
*Actually, I do know what those types of fans do - they think whinging and pointing out how bad we are somehow makes them more of an expert when we loose a few and they can tell everyone how right they were.
