If we’re going to play a back five surely we should be looking at using Goodwin as a wingback. No slight on Behich but he doesn’t have the forward drive he once had. Goodwin can still provide a good balls from deeper and isn’t a shirker defensively. He’s played that kind of role before hasn’t he? We need more offensively from those wide roles than the current batch can provide.
Ryan is so fucking solid, always looks so confident. Seems to always come for the ball at exactly the right time

Behich is terrible, he is our worst player.
I don’t think Goodwin is a good option, he’s I ly played fullback for a few minutes at the end of matches.
Think there’s a very good chance we are both on 13 going into the Saudi away game and who knows how good the ref will be…

Why? Japan would actually need to score for us to be stuck on 13. They’re not going to get three points off possession alone.

The 3 points we torched vs Bahrain on the GC would see us qualified with that goal difference.

Fantastic window for us. Not only winning both games, but having other results go our way. Weve locked in top 4 and have a huge GD advantage.
Fair crack of the whip to Poppa and the boys, they were well organized and clinical in attack. Very assured performance today and for the majority of Indonesia. Thought Teague was very good tonight.
After winning 1 of their first 6, and having played Bahrain twice already, I was fearing the worst and not seeing much evidence of an impending turn around.
