Even against Bangladesh the defence wasn’t that convincing. Some of their runs peeling out wide from the line we were playing which even though the forwards weren’t that great & were getting zero service actually weren’t that bad. Whilst Bangladesh weren’t much of an opponent against a better opponent I think they could be found out.
And Luongo give yourself an uppercut, whose idiotic idea was it to let him take a penalty.
I thought they should’ve given the spot kick to Yengi. There’s a decent chance we’re going to need him later on in the qualifiers, and even getting a goal against Bangladesh would’ve given him some confidence.

Been watching the U17s game on my phone around when Boyle scored.
Iran was winning the last 20 or so, Morocco equalised deep into injury time. Morocco won on pens (goes straight to pen shootout). I had no idea U17 had VAR. Their keeper saved to setup a winner, was off his line, he saved it again, then it was checked out but his foot was on the line, then they scored the next.
