Australian National Team Thread - #PopaOut!

From what is in the public domain it appears that she thought the whole thing was filmed and was angry that they didn’t provide her with transport away from the hotel.
So, according to what is in the public domain, there is no recording so she is upset they didn’t pay her cab fare.
There’s a whole chunk missing in there somewhere…

If it was their end of season shindig in Vegas I doubt anyone would give a fuck. Except this was essentially a work trip.

So next time you’re away at a conference maybe tag team a girl with 3 of your colleagues and find out if your boss is a bit miffed at the breakfast buffet in the morning?

hehe, yeah, talk about our work trips to asia…

Yeh, unless it’s orchard towers they won’t give a fuck. They’d probably ask for a blow by blow account.

Does the navy count?

RIP Pim, 63 is way too young.

Astonishing news. I wasn’t even aware that he was sick.

Take away the XI he put out and its capitulation in Durban (and subsequent media furore courtesy of Laszlo) and his time as NT coach would probably be looked on more favourably. That aside everyone who knew him reckons he was a top bloke. RIP Aussie Pim.

RIP Pim. The last, and probably only, Socceroos coach to steer a smooth ride through World Cup qualification.

  1. That’s so young. RIP Pim. We all got pissed off at you for doing what we got pissed off at Ange for not doing. The fault was with us.

Correction…
The only (and probably the last) …

Can still remember wandering the deserted streets at 2am after we qualified (in Dubai or thereabouts) reflecting on how the experience could not have been further from that of 2006. Loved it and hated it at the same time .

Still the last coach to win a game at a World Cup with the Socceroos too. #Holmania

First time I ever lay eyes on Milos, great night despite bowing out on goal difference.

Very sad, was battling cancer for four years.

Drawn in the Argentina group. I believe we are the opening match of the tournament with Argentina.

Very tempting to do a hit and run mission to check this out.

I was hoping for Colombia as I spent a bunch of time in Argentina pre Brazil 2014.

Think I’ll head down for a few days for a couple of games. Wont be able to stay longer than that.

How exciting is the prospect of seeing our Rhyan Grant up against Messi etc. Assuming he’ll be matched up more against Di Maria, yeah?

The way Argentina is going, it will be Messi up against Rhyan Grant.

Winning the Ballon d’or for a record number of times then playing against Rhyan Grant. You can’t tell me Messi wouldn’t be trying to trade at least 1 away for Rhyno’s shirt. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least though if our boy is going to play hard ball.
I mean, at the end of the day, how many Grant 23 shirts does Ronaldo have or have the opportunity to get?
