Is Milligan still getting game time for his club?

You can’t fire me, I quit.

Something that Lucas Neil never said.

Has viduka retired yet?

Is Viduka still alive?

His Wiki page indicates he retired in 2009. No citation, though!

That’s because he never actually (officially) retired.

Viduka doesn’t retire.

Football retires.

Viduka just sailed off into the sunset off the Dalmatian coast and vanished didn’t he? So enigmatic. So romantic.

Better to do that than out staying your welcome like certain over players * Tim Cahill*

I read that Viduka and family live in Melbourne and he has some involvement with Melbourne Knights

Good apparently on the Socceroos radar

CALTEX OUT!..AMPOL IN!

LOOKS like this could happen?

Chevron own the CALTEX name, and the present agreement expires soon…Chevron owns PUMA that’s likely to be rebranded to CALTEX…

Just caught a snippet on ABC business news…so could be a little inaccurate but that’s the way I interpreted the report.

Yeah. Chevron has said that Caltex can’t use the Caltex name anymore.

So Caltex is being rebranded back to ampol.

The ampol Socceroos is the best name ever.
They better go back to wearing the white socks kit to match.

Should be AMPOL - the single most important sponsor of our game in Australia in the 1960s, through its managing director BHill (Sir William) Walkley. Interesting bio of him here and how he became so involved in our game in later life, for many years President of the ASF: Biography - Sir William Gaston Walkley - Australian Dictionary of Biography

He also founded the Walkley Awards for journalism

Anyone know if these Olyroos games will be broadcast? First one is Wednesday night

FFA site says TBC for broadcast, so not shown anywhere officially yet. Stream seems likely at this point.

Had a 1-1 draw with Sth Korea on Friday in a warm up.

Socceroos social media says they are working on something but not nailed down yet. There will almost certainly be a way to watch them.
