Looks like they didn’t sell specific areas and held on to try and create a bit of atmosphere? Says that they’d release tickets to general sale if they weren’t purchased. Actually a bit of a decent touch by FIFA if true.
I believe each federation was being reserved 1-2000 tickets per game they are in that their citizens could get directly. We were sitting next to some Colombians in Brisbane who had got into a couple of their earlier games after going through their embassy

The Olympic qualifiers are part of the current broadcast deal with Network 10 and Paramount Plus. Those three games will be on free-to-air and Paramount Plus but the specific Network 10 FTA channel is yet to be announced.
Here comes the money….hopefully. Now to see what they spend it on.
