Bolting from the Blue- The Central Coast Mariners Thread

Legit or just talk?

Is that true or did you read on TWG?

That guy sounds like he talks a big game, but has very little substance.

Has been bubbling away for ages. Struggle to believe its happening now.

On that note:

A shame would love for Mariners to get a good owner ready to invest.

It would have been a shame if he got away with it or even conned the Club. Perth dodged a bullet last year. The world is full of many people who buy on the never never and then disappear with the cash.
He now says he holds shares in a holding company that owns property used by Rayo. A bit different to being the part owner.
A serious contender for ownership will not appear until the management of the A-League is settled along with a sponsor and a broadcast deal. Do not hold your breath waiting for any sale completion until those things happen.

Says the guy was declared bankrupt in September. He sounds like a total fraud. I think CCM dodged a huge bullet with this guy.

Great piece from Rugari on Ruon Tongyik:

Yep, one under administration.

I hope there’s some administration going on.

COuncils are meant to administer shit and stuff.

I mean as in they are incredibly deep in debt.

They’re a government. Governments are meant to be in debt!

Not $565m in debt due to unlawful expenditure they’re not.

Well …

You may have a point there

Maybe they shouldn’t have appointed the guy who had previous at Lismore City Council then.

That’s a staggering figure. Was Lawrie McKinna around for some of that I wonder?

No, nothing to do with McKinna. It was well after his tenure.
