Cheerleaders 2018

If they’re offering FTTP for nix, I’d jump at it. Depends on whether you can satisfactorily workaround the potential for snafus. The NBN responsibility ends at the front wall of your house, the internals, modem etc is yours/your telco’s, bear in mind.

If they’re going to pay for it, then jump on it.

Does anyone else find those Arabian perfumes/colognes are ridiculously foul smelling? I don’t know what particular ingredient it is, but it smells like actual poo to me and then strong scents give me an instant headache.

They seem to be getting popular with those weird perfume obsessed chavs over here (the kind who will drop 200 quid on a perfume, but send their kids to school without lunch). Had one sit next to me on the tube for a few stops on the weekend and I had to get off as I thought I would be sick form the strong smell. I then had a headache for the remainder of the day.

For me it’s not as much about the scent as it is the volume that’s been applied. Any more than 2 squirts is overkill… You should not be able to smell someone who isn’t within a 2-3m radius of you

It is a bit of both, the volume makes it worse

Spray into the air and walk through the mist, right?

Spray, delay, walk away

Glad that I’m not going crazy, the smell is awful, I did suspect it’s because people are wearing way too much of it, but it also do get the shit smell walking past the stores as well, don’t know how people smell that and want to go inside.

Pretty much all of them are god awful to me.

Thats my mantra with the wife

I swear I went to the hotel bathroom across from the International Terminal ( Kingsford Smith ) once & there was something in the toilet about not drinking the water.

Not sure how true this is as the guy who told me is known to exaggerate, but this guy worked in Commbank doing IT security. They once brought in a large number of staff for training from India to Sydney and they had to have training sessions on how to use the bathrooms, including not peeing and pooping in the sink.

Not that surprising, folks who come from places with pit toilets can take some re-training…. our old building at 233 Castlereagh was shared with a few of those dodgy English language schools, despite every stall having signs RE: not to stand on the seat it was not uncommon for shit to be left all over it. Not physically possible to do if you’re sitting down.

Challenge accepted.

Our toilets aren’t quite that bad, but we have signs on the backs of the cubicles stating your must sit and not stand/squat on the toilet.

Also a sign about not flushing anything other than toilet paper down.

I worked at a cafe in Summerhill that had a few people coming in with some unfortunate mental issues. One of the elderly ladies that came in somehow managed to get shit on the walls above head height. Apparently it was smeared all over the walls.

Not knowing how to use a commode is a thing.
