In a surprising turn of events for the longest off season in the football cosmos we have a game of competitive football tonight against a team that plays near cows.
Brasilian beach bunda > Ironbark Field Dairy Cow bunda
I wonder why he doesn’t want to back in a hurry.
Not a good sign.
Game day and the dread levels are rising.
The missus has been informed there will be no Cheap Seats tonight, the only things on our tele will be a backwater near Geelong and some spittle.
More important than the lineup is to decide what to drink in order to make the performance more palatable. Off to Liquorland at lunch then.
Has anyone done this stadium away before? I’m heading in tonight and expecting no food things at all because it’s just a training ground? Assume the parking is fine, all they got is open space
Ahhh they meant payer signings, not player signings
At ALM they had food trucks, chip on a stick, coffee cart, etc. Parking is plentiful but expensive and terrible to get out of given the crowd size.
There isn’t a game tonight.
Nothing to see here.
Both bottlo’s nearby the office are simultaneously shut with staff out to lunch. FML.
5-1 loss. We score first.
Just remembered this is on channel 10. Hope they have more than 1 camera
Hopefully he doesn’t miss all of our goals when he is out taking a piss…… nah should be fine
100% means it’s undiluted, although ironically methylated spirits is ethanol that’s been slightly diluted with stuff that will kill you/makes it taste really really bad

Genuinely never had so much trouble trying to purchase a beverage. BWS lured me in with discounted Aberlour, but no stock left at North Sydney and it’s full price at Kirribilli, Crowie or St Leonard’s on the way home. Tried to pop into Liquorland and Chambers, they were closed for 30 & 10 mins respectively.
Post-lunch hit the web, Dan’s have none of my fave scotch below full freight. Liquorland have my usual Singleton also discounted ($90 bottle, but I’ll grab one any time it’s on spesh and starts with a 7), but again it’s out of stock near office and anywhere convenient on the way home. Popped back in there anyways to have a look at what else, they’ve got fuck all that takes my fancy on the shelf.
Genuinely fearing for tonight’s performance and result as the universe is hell bent on making me watch us sober, popped into Chambers. I’ve succumbed and attempted to make a deal with the football gods, ponied up for Glenfiddich 15. We better not be shit.
We should give him the benefit of the doubt, at least for now.
I did the Melbourne City match fully conscious I’ll probably do this too
Luckily I won’t need Mountain Dew to watch the game. I have the kids this evening, so I’ll save my disappointment for when I get home and check the score.
So long as we don’t play like we’ve downed Sevenish-Methylated Spirts, I may watch the game on Friday night.
Sounds like the perfect accompaniment to a Sydney FC match!
