Auspost. Had something delivered to a parcel locker. They have taken it to a post office instead.
No details provided like they normally would (barcode to scan etc), one page says collect from post office, the other from parcel locker.
This post office also only opens during business hours, so I have to either leave work early, or go in late to pick it up. If I go to the parcel locker tonight and it’s not there you know it’s going to be a shit fight to get the package without any kind of delivery slip…

Similarly themed, getting a card in the letterbox with a “last warning” and a date that the parcel in question is due to be returned to sender as the FIRST NOTIFICATION of any kind that the parcel has arrived.
Agreed it’s annoying. If you know who sent it they’ll have given you a tracking number so you can pop that in the auspost app and then you’ll have everything you need for them including its location.
The parcel lockers become especially infuriating around busy times like Christmas. They need to introduce penalties for not collecting your stuff within 48 hours. First offence: $20 fine and one-month suspension. Second offence: death.
That’s the thing - that page says both post shop and parcel locker!
I also do not have a parcel locker at that location…it’s elsewhere!
The Metro Theatre updating set times after 6pm on the day of the show. Unless someone’s plane was sitting on the tarmac earlier in the day that is unacceptable.
On a positive note, Last Dinosaurs were great.
The parcel lockers are not like the old post boxes. It is really an ID number which can be applied to any locker in Australia, although the Post Office app does ask you to specify a location. Have you tried going to Crows Nest and seeing if it is there?
That’s where it was, just a pain to have to wait in line to get it when it should have gone to the right place to begin with!
I just saw an ad for Allianz Insurance that read “ Congratulations to our 32 female athletes that won a medal in Paris” I mean sure the women kicked arse but come on. No love for the fellas? I’m sure some of them won a medal. Just blatant sexism
