Even if he fails, his pedigree with the women would earn him a spot at pretty much any sports high school

I feel if he’s being coated with waterproofing material for nautical voyages, then he may be in the wrong industry
Given we’re a harborside club, it might actually help seal his decision making.
He’d be well suited at Hull though.
may as well just go to the Mariners?
He could help fill a gap at one of those Eastern European torpedo clubs.
Stanton is hoping to Bradbury his way into the position after years of being an assistant & also hopefully have a good team to take the credit for things moving forward.
Sound familiar?
I’ll let that one sail through to the keeper.
I wouldn’t. Stanton could be just as much responsible for the absolute shitshow our club as become as Corica is.
We need an outsider. Fresh approach, fresh ideas. Stanj would be ideal if a caretaker from the outside can be trusted until post WWC. I like Uffie but his style of play reminds me too much of Corica’s.
except that he wins games?
edit: scratch that, he’s won the same amount as Sydney
But with a weaker squad you can at least argue he gets more out of the players. We haven’t been close to the sum of our parts for 18 months.
Yorke in. 12 months ago I never would have said his but if this happens, very happy TBF.
Herald Sun reporting Yorke for Corica
Well that would be a bloody turn up. I’m still not sold on Yorke as a coach but I’d give him a shot.
If I had to guess I’d say 95% of our fan base lean Corica out at this point, club absolutely needs to do something and if this is the move then so be it.
Yorke might be green but lets be honest Macarthur outplay us week in week out.
We only beat them previously due to some dodgy refereeing. The last time we met they schooled us at home.
Add to that, Yorke harks back to good memories for most Sydney fans. It would bring some feelgood factor back, assuming he can get some better results on the park.
Well, Corica standing completely still while the league dances around him, then passing the job off to Yorke would at least be a HECTIC role reversal of the 2006 grand final.
Yeah, Yorke doesn’t have much coaching experience, but for what its worth, his team actually move off the ball and try to present passing opportunities. That does not happen with our team nearly often enough. Yorke, if nothing else, would fix that.
Hardly
Yorke’s departure from the Bulls led to immediate speculation that he will take over the struggling Sky Blues from Corica, whose side’s disappointing season continued in Hobart on Saturday when they were beaten 1-0 by Western United.
Surely, this appointment isn’t on an interm basis considering he left a pretty secure role? Seems incredibly risky and lazy by the club.
I understand on not wanting to jeopardise the women’s team and the youth set up but would of hoped that we had an interim whilst we find the perfect experienced candiate that could shake up the whole club, top to bottom, just like Arnie did.
