Mature age rookie?
Mature age rookie?
Injury replacement?
Didnāt he play at Aberdeen?
Fair play, thatās marketing!
It might get their crowd figure to 8k this weekend.
Dwight is great for the league compared to some of the coaching offerings weāve seen recycled, and I want him to do well. There was an article recently where he talked about the blatant racism in manager gigs given to black players compared to their white team-mates, its a bit depressing. A photo op with Ferguson is a gimmick to be sure, but at least the team has a catchment and can build an identity around this kind of stuff. Good on them. Now letās give Dwight a first proper ALM beating please
Quite frankly, Ferguson is a terrible person and can fuck off. /Liverpool
But, thatās a good bit of work from Dwight!
Well to be fair thereās no evidence he can coach. Not sure going for a big name is inherently smarter than recycling coaches.
He canāt be worse than Warren Moon or the Vanilla Chocolate Magic.
I donāt rate them as much cop as managers.
Fuck Houston.
They won their first trophy and are playing better football than the last manager they had. Enough evidence for me that heās competent.
Melbourne Victory apparently talking to Bruno Fornarolli.
Didnāt he have the same contract clause at City that heās being dicked on at Perth?
Surely Fornaroli would want to go to a club where heād be starting. I donāt see it happening at Victory at his age.
Pretty impressed with Fergieās ability to dress like a run of the mill British boomer abroad despite being rich as fuck.
I was randomly looking up ticket prices after being slightly outraged at Macarthur prices - noticed Wests have some of the cheapest tickets in the league.
Both lower tiers behind the goals (including RBB) are only $20 for Adult tickets. Note even for Macarthur, itās $25 for an Adult behind the goals and that seems to be the standard. Perth have $20 GA at Makedonia park.
For us, GA behind the goals is $30.
It gets more expensive of course on the sidelines and even upper tiers, but I donāt mind their pricing model. WSW really donāt have an excuse for their disappointing (and inflated) crowds.
The APL doesnāt help itself with the crowd sizes at times.
If the game last night was played today you would get a much larger travelling contingent. Any time 2 NSW teams play each other the game should be played on Saturday or Sunday.
Agree and, except for the Sydney Derby, the kickoff should be 5:00pm or earlier so that away supporters can get to and from the ground in the same calendar day.
