Yep, this exactly. Eurosnobs will rarely even want to listen to anything about the A League and will dismiss anything that doesn’t follow their “A League is shit” narrative. It’s the general population who watch a World Cup, realise they enjoyed it and had fun and are interested in watching more football. Given that the A League is on FTA, it’s far more accessible to them as well. When they do tune in, they have some familiar names and faces to watch.

Exactly, I spent hours in a Morris Minor near The Union Hotel while my father and grandfather had a couple of drinks with other fans in the early 1960s trying to work out why Norths lost again.
I just got a Blue Bow orange drink and read the game programme over and over.

Guessing there was a friendly held today between WSW and CCM. Left the dub game at Marconi and now at Blacktown to watch the Isotopes… I mean Blue Sox again, just seen the CCM coach pulling out from WSW HQ.

Don’t watch enough to make a judgment on the ABL as a whole, but from what I have seen it appears to have regressed post-Covid (last season was cancelled due to state border difficulties so this is the first proper comp in 2 years) and probably related the imports appear to be more hit and miss as there hasn’t been as much continuity with them being here for summer as there was prior to the break.
The Blue Sox are the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked though, proper shambles this season at 2-13 and struggling with the basics.

What sort of crowds do they get?
I could probably wander around and give a VERY accurate count. 
Let’s say 150-200 atm, this is game 2 of a double header (we missed the early game while at ALW instead) and it has thinned out a bit as people have had enough for the day, the game blowing out certainly hasn’t helped.
Don’t know about earlier but did see on their socials they were advertising new merch and someone replied with “Who are you selling it to?” and an empty stadium shot. Crowds this season (we come to one game of each of the 5 home stands with our memberships) are definitely down on 2 years ago, easily halved if not more.
