You just know they’re going to have Canberra and Wellington as the capital city derby

Hamilton Olympic! Finally.

What a shithole. The bunyips would not survive that place.

A victory for evil. Sad day.

Depending on the bid, if it’s the Wolves then our natural rivals are Perth Glory (the greatest NSL GF in history bla bla) and then the coastie derby thanks to multiple FFA cup ties (the trophy for that one should probably be a bong). For some reason Perth are big bogeys for Hawks in the bball too.

Probably because the Wildcats are the winningest team in the NBL.

Oh good.

I’m addition to the Asian Cup proper which will run from 12 Jan to 10 Feb and cause player unavailabilities for at least 5 rounds, this year we’ll also have the U23 Asian Cup which runs from 15 Apr to 3 May - at least three last three rounds of regular season and first round of finals.

Good thing we had that six month off season.

Don’t worry, we won’t be affected. We loan all out best up and coming youth to far flung corners of Europe.

Isn’t our team somewhat reliant on youth this season (at this stage, sans signings)?

Average age of the squad is 24.1, however that’s heavily pulled down by the youth singings. In terms of our starting squad, the average age is 28.5 and that would be expected to change with the new Brazilian signings, which would push it slightly higher.

Our 26.3-year-old striker signing or our 24.0-year-old defender signing?

Both would be older than the Woody / Gurd / JGR they’re replacing.

Both would push it up as they’re replacing significantly younger players :stuck_out_tongue: I know maths!

Also not convinced on the CB signing. Looks like he may still be in Brazil?

So how long before the Mariners sack this random English bloke and replace him with Corica?

I know the results aren’t there but are they playing that badly?
They appear to be creating plenty of chances and taking the shots but just not getting the goals.
Defensively they’re a bit rubbish but I wouldn’t be that eager to move him on just yet.

Surely they’re not that desperate.
