General A-Leagues Men Discussion Thread

Peak A-League reached again with this Castro-away-in-campervan story. Amazing scenes.

Not sure why we’d be surprised. Castro routinely goes missing when he’s meant to be on the pitch.

I’m amazed he actually stayed in the country.

Does he hide behind the sprinkler like Gumprecht?

Very obscure season one jokes.

We’ve got a home game at Bankwest

We’ve gotta remind these kiddies we’ve been doing this for way too long.

Indeed. Next game we’ll talk about Footscray JUST and see what happens

Giggity

VAR won’t be used for the remainder of the season, and is yet to be decided whether it will be used in the finals.

I am the concerned.

So Hill is broadening his horizons and has more to say, but thou he very generally refers to the key issue he glosses straight past onto other, lessor matters.

I can’t help sometimes that the FFA and the media are a bit like a mule with a spinning wheel.

What made the A League cult viewing? It wasn’t the amount of u23s in the match day squad …

You have to admit though that you do enjoy a youth prospect being given a chance in the first team. Though I do admit they shouldnt be just given a place.

Wins
Loses
Trophies

And sauce bottles. Don’t forget the sauce bottles.

But the sauce bottles are integral part of what is, wait for it, wait …

Not sport, but sport entertainment.

I think they transcend even that boundary. The sauce bottle blimp certainly does.

Sucks that we won’t get a home game to celebrate for so long
