The intent is still to get to 14 teams next season (2025/26). That means we can do 2x13 = 26 league games + 1 cup/playoff match and our AFC needs are met.
This Unite round is a contractual obligation, and I’m sure the APL would love it to go gangbusters because that boosts the chances of a renewal with Destination NSW, but failing that there won’t be anything that necessitates its ongoing inclusion and it will muck up an otherwise balanced draw from next season.

This popped up on my YouTube feed. Looks like the FA Finally got around to making a video, killing off the content creators that would have the best goals video up hours after the GF.
They included an Arzani goal which is just a deflected shot. A very odd choice.
Arzani could have scored 0 goals all season, and they’d have probably thrown in an AI generated Arzani goal.
Almost had to quit the video after that atrocious choice of a first goal. FMD why would you start with that
