I think you got that wrong? Weāre not getting subs anymore?
What the hell???
NOW they are being sent home by players from the local Australian league and the almost equally unimpressive Scottish one. After picking up a single point against Issam Jebali of the Superliga and his Tunisian mates. It is neither an arrogant nor a disrespectful message ā it is pure facts. And itās not impressive.
Danish media taking the result well!
Matt Ryan is going to enjoy going back to Copenhagen
His polish mate is going home early after playing 0 minutes so Maty can bow to him and concede he is better rested to be Copenhagenās #1
Edit: Actually Argentina or mexico need to score again for that
āiām sorry⦠iām sorry⦠but it isā
Argies confirmed now i think
I wonder how Volpato is feeling this morning.
Probably very well informed, given the amount of people reaching out to him on the socials
Someone here used the word ānefariousā when referring to what France may do⦠and they did.
I ask Albo⦠ādo you think that France are nefarious entitled arrogant cheese eating surrender monkeys?ā
He replies⦠āi donāt think⦠I knowā
then drops mic and declares a public holiday
100%.
Argies defence a bit suspect donāt know if we can win but keep messi quiet during the game & you never know.
Unashamedly nicking this for my new profile pic
So I ended up getting out of bed after an hour of sleep to watch at 2am, and faaaaaaaaaarking glad I did.
That first 35 minutes I thought we were absolutely done for. Some real sketchy moments at the back and we were lucky not to concede.
Almost like the fact the Danes didnāt score broke their own back - they seemingly just lost all will to really keep playing that style of football.
Defensively after that 35-40 minute mark we really stepped it up and dominated. I thought the move to a back 3/5 was going to invite pressure - but they really didnāt capitalise. Baccus coming on in the midfield, and right wing or where ever the hell he was playing was a master stroke. He dominated, just the right amount of creativity without giving the ball away constantly (Leckieās downside).
Leckie probably needed to come off a touch earlier, as did Duke so we could still keep pressing with fresh legs. McLaren probably not the right swap - he wasnāt tall enough to really challenge aerial clearances by our backline/Ryan, but he seemed to work hard. Phenomenal team performance once we got into the game. Buzzing.
Shame we arenāt going to meet the Saudis or Poland, but Iām pretty keen to see someone kick the fuck out of Messi.
