If they can get everyone else to do the running he could still be a bit special. Hopefully he can get on the pitch regularly.

Mata is a bigger name than Douglas but the fact that he’s basically been retired and before that played ten minutes for his last team doesn’t suggest much.

Can’t see him being better than Costa. Costa can still run. Won’t be surprised if he walks the league. Literally.
Never mind the race to 828, do a stat on how many paces he makes whilst running.
He’s played 505 minutes of football since the start of the 2022-23 season. And only 10 in the last 12 months. Bizarre signing.
They’ll need all the luck to keep him consistently on the park, especially in a physical league like ALM. Hasn’t he been crocked the last 3-4 years?
