If it’s a rental, electricity should be sorted shouldn’t it? Think it’s just internet

Still need to arrange for the “connection” which is really just allocating the service to your own account so that you’re billed. Unless it’s a share house type scenario, tenants pay the electricity bill.
We’re about to start a laundry renovation - keeping the floor tiles, so nothing too major, but replacing the big traditional laundry tub with a nice cabinet and benchtop to extend over where the washing machine sits. We’ll have a round tub to recess into the bench and replace the tapware and tiled splashback. We’ll also remove a large cupboard to allow us to move our dryer to that space rather than being stacked on the washing machine and we’ll add some storage cabinets. It will end up being a much better use of the space and make it feel a lot more open.
In other related news, we recently got a heat pump dryer. This is a game changer, so much better than the traditional one that we had that pump hot humid air into the place. Loads more efficient as well.
Can concur that electricity is usually tenants responsibility. Water is the one which tends to go throgh the landlord.
No gas at this place?
Shit, yes gas… that’s another
So Gas and electricity in my name…
Internet also to be done… sweet, will do that tonight as we get keys tomorrow morning
