A few people have mentioned that there’s no relegation this year because of expansion?

Huge result for Blacktown City. Hopefully they can hold on
Watched at a misty Arlington a very entertaining 0-0 against Bankstown City. There was almost not so amazing scenes with Bankstown missing a tight chance deep into injury time. Dully have Rydalmere next week and here’s hoping Dully don’t do what they did in the last fixture and give them a 3 goal start.
The worst thing that ever happened to NSWPL was the loss of Jensen Park ćevapi when Bankstown got relegated.

Our ancestors fought one another so I could presumably come to Belmore in 2021AD and watch SFC Youth play Olympic. What do you mean “No”!?
Conceded in injury time.
Frustrating.
Still, top 5 Olympic struggling against a youth side.
One game yet to go ahead. If it goes ahead.
Probably will go ahead with restrictions on social spacing and mask wearing. Group goal celebrations are discouraged.
Each teams players to watch, standout performers, possible A-league signings.
Big shakeup incoming for the NPL.
For 2022 and beyond, the NPL NSW Men’s competitions will consist only of the Premiership Series. That is, there will be no Championship series.
1st place in lower divisions will be promoted, second place will play off against 2nd last the division above in a home/away pro/rele playoff.
The problem will be if they can’t complete this season (at all levels), will they go through with the changes?
Anyway this is how the four divisions become three.
I feel like they’re throwing away a bit of gold by ditching NPL 1 finals. The Grand Final is easily the most well attended and interesting game of the entire NPL season. It’s also such a great day out, three quality games of Grand Final football across the 18s, 20s and first grade divisions.
Sucks that WSW NPL will get a free ride up to the NPL1 as a result of this reorganisation.
I think I last went to a grand final in 2011.
11,000 people turned up to Belmore for a cracking game between Olympic and United.
Both teams would have been getting less than 1000 a game.
It seems like throwing income away.
The old we want to be proper football, with relegation and promotion, but Finals Series makes money and eyes on sport.
Both is good.
Big shout out to the NPL.TV app. Fuck all on tele this arvo so been binging random park football from SA and QLD, ranging from AU’s NPL team to what looks like women’s park league.
No commentary, bogans yelling stupid shit, howling winds and random poles and roofs blocking the corners of the field from view of the single camera.
It’s great, just like being out at the local park. Also seen a bit of sides that will soon feature in the FFA Cup. And fuck Playford.
