If anything, it will be interesting to see who steps up our U23 team now that Nieuwenhof and Wood are in the first-team squad. Hopefully the U23’s can kick on from their strong showing last year.

Is that to say in some form that the A-league clubs have all the best youth prospects already under their books?

Any good goalkeepers?

APIA have some really solid recruits this season from what I’ve seen

Probably a result of the soil.

Potential recruit “Hi APIA, thanks for the interest. I’m looking for $800 a game”
APIA “OK, the best we can do is $200. But do you need any dirt?”

Round 1. Friday 26

Also just realized the Macarthur NPL thiefboys Northbridge Bulls play Sutherland tonight at 6:55PM.

And another thing you can watch on NPL.TV is Simon Hill hosted Football quiz comedy show, A Game Of Two Halves. Previously on You Tube and still…

From the highlights Marconi should have had 5.

The game started, and it turns out they are playing their games (Or just this game) at Edensor Park.

Club based in Campbelltown, ‘Bought’ an NPL side in Northbridge, playing at their rival NPL side Sydney United 58’s home ground.

Football Tetris.

Utterly farcical, borderline disgusting - from all parties

From what I’ve seen they’re moving between Edensor, Campbelltown Stadium and Fairfield Showground. Sneaky from the Bulls. Absolutely astounded Northbridge agreed to it, especially so soon after making a big thing of “going back to their roots” once their agreement with the Mariners broke. And they’re not allowed to compete in the FFA Cup because they’re functioning as Mac’s youth team.

Manly Utd - Mt.Druitt 1-1.
Sydney Youth - Marconi 1-0.
Syd Olympic - Sydney Utd 58 0-1.
Northbridge - Sutherland 2-2.
Blacktown - APIA 0-0.

Game on today: Rockdale - Wollongong starts at 3pm.

Rockdale won at home against Wollongong 4-0.

Table after first round.

1 Rockdale Ilinden FC 1 1 0 0 4 0 4 3
2 Sydney United 58 FC 1 1 0 0 1 0 1 3
3 Sydney FC 1 1 0 0 1 0 1 3
4 Northbridge Bulls FC 1 0 1 0 2 2 0 1
5 Sutherland Sharks FC 1 0 1 0 2 2 0 1
6 Mt Druitt Town Rangers FC 1 0 1 0 1 1 0 1
7 Manly United FC 1 0 1 0 1 1 0 1
8 APIA Leichhardt FC 1 0 1 0 0 0 0 1
9 Blacktown City FC 1 0 1 0 0 0 0 1
10 Marconi Stallions FC 1 0 0 1 0 1 -1 0
11 Sydney Olympic FC 1 0 0 1 0 1 -1 0

Surely we’re ahead of the fascists on alphabet.

It’s a copy of from the NSWNPL site. Flipped SFC conspiracy?! Or just education fails?!

The lizardmen of FNSW just want to see us fail!

Is it a table or is it a ladder? Where do these sayings come from?

Here goes my curiosity of languages and movement of people across the ages, but surely this ones a modern thing being football in it’s modern state has only been around 150 years or so…

I could research but who doesn’t like a historical chat?! :upside_down_face:

It’s Ladder, from the Latin “Scalae”. Derived from when the Gladiators climbed the ladder out of the pit following a victory
