How do Wolves afford WIN? Surely there’s a smaller, decent ground they can play on?

They used to use Crehan park at Cringila, very nice little stadium, also used Macedonia park at Berkely- less fancy. Think playing surfaces would have not been so good.
At win I think they just use the bottom of the newer ( western) stand and maybe the hill. So it’s mostly all closed off. Plus only 4-6? NRL games a year, the joint is semi abandoned, so there is probably political reasons to do a deal. ( I am just guessing here)
Showground no 2 makes developers drool,( seaside training ground next door) I think they have finally rolled over and are going to build something on it. I think southern Sydney expansion team wanted to develop that land as part of their licence bid.
Good summary.
Saw maybe 30 in the southern stand, active maybe?
No one on the hill or northern end

Blokes doing filthy things in the league. 22 from 24 last season.
He’s no JK.
Bugger that late consolation from a corner has cost us top spot.
Wish Dennis logged in to just change the title.
A memo from Adrian Vlastelica on FB…
To all our loyal supporters!
On behalf of the team, the Board and management of the Club. I’d like to acknowledge the support you give us every single game and how proud I am to be captain of our Club, Sydney United 58 .
Your strong and vocal support drives us to strive for success every time we step onto the pitch. You are our 12th man so please keep singing for us!
The passion displayed by you, our supporters at last Sundays game is what we play for. We will continue to give all of ourselves for the club and our supporters.
However, as we are all aware, the club and hence our team is under a cloud of NPL points sanctions from incidents which happened during the Australia cup final.
Last Sunday many supporters entered the field after the final whistle to celebrate our victory. Although we thrive on your passion and all intentions are good, it has been made clear by the FA that… “The field of play is sacred and the safety of our players and match officials is paramount”
As club captain and on behalf of my team, I kindly ask you to please refrain from entering or running onto the playing field at anytime during or after the match has concluded.
Simply, we can’t risk any further penalties being imposed on the Club
Earlier this week the FA opened up expressions of interest for applications to new national second division to start in 2024.
The Clubs board and management, with your support, will do all it can to make sure we are playing in this new professional league in 2024, putting us one step closer to the ultimate goal of returning to the highest level of football in Australia.
As proud captain of this team and the Club, at the end of each game we as a team will always come to the active supporter area to thank you and share the moment with you.
I appreciate you support and understanding and look forward to seeing you all for our next game, tonight at 7:30pm against Mt Druitt Rangers

I mean, I could cut them some slack for those scenes at Edensor after last years Cup semi, but what fucken flogs are entering the field to celebrate any old win on opening day? And after that Cup final debacle? Fold the fucken club.
Good on them for trying. Hope for the good of humanity and Australian football, their future becomes ‘better’.
Watching the Macarthur v Mariners game online. Wtf is Kalac wearing on his head? Looks like a shower cap.
Marconi 4 Sydney FC 0 after 80 minutes.

2 rounds in, the usual suspects will be there or there abouts.
Just watching the highlights on YT from this round, what a sad state of affairs the Sutherland Seymour Shaw field has become.
They were on of the first, if not the first NPL NSW club to get an all-weather synthetic field, but it seems to have fallen into such a state of disrepair. Just discolored muddy patches all over the shop, and it seems to be full of dirt, every time a player runs or the ball bounces a massive cloud of dirt puffs up. Up the left hand side of the field (if sitting on the grandstand side) just seems on level as fuck, and the goals themselves look like their leaning at a weird angle.
Sutherland have had a bit of a fall from grace the last few seasons, and the signs aren’t looking too good this season either.
