Heard a rumour just now, that in the next 48 hours FNSW are going to announce that Sydney United are going to be Relegated to the NPL2 division, due to their lovely fans racially abusing player(s) at at least one of their games this season.

Just a rumour at this stage. Said rumour is unsubstantiated at this stage, but it was posted on the NPL fans Facebook page today, which is pretty accurate when it comes to NPL stories and news. I think the owner of the page works for FNSW.
lol, meaning that they would avoid Bonnyrigg in NPL1. I’m not a Bonnyrigg fan but that would be delicious irony considering Bonnyrigg copped most of the blame for the “riot” years ago and got relegated for it while Sydney United got mostly a slap on the wrist.
Actually correction; NPL2 is League 1 and IN the same division as Bonnyrigg.
If Sydney United are relegated for that, they can for sure say goodbye to an NSD slot.
