NSW Premier League 19/20/21/22/23/24

This Rockdale Sydney Utd grand final is a ripper. 3 all, first period of extra time. Amazing given the conditions

I watched toward the end and then the penalty shoot out. Was amazing scenes for a pandemic time football match. Syd Utd won with Rockdale missing more penalties. After the last missed penalty, crowd ran on to the pitch to celebrate with the team and staff. people going nuts everywhere, as if they had just been promoted to the top tier of Australian football pyramid…

With any luck Covid will have run rampant through SUS, then they can all have time to read the Crawford Report while isolating.

In other news Australia has hot weather.

Nobody ever asks how much Football NSW asks of top NPL clubs for registrations & nobody ever asks that Football NSW makes those accreditations mandatory for clubs in order for them to keep their NPL status & these accreditations cost a few grand in themselves. It’s always the clubs themselves that are singled out but never ever the governing body. So top NPL are paying between 50,000 & 100,000 to Football NSW per year & they need to make that money back how? I’m not saying these things are right & that they should occur but you must be living in a sunshine & lollipops existence if you think that this sort of thing isn’t going to occur. I’m constantly amused at the propaganda war being waged against the NPL clubs by the FFA (or whatever the fuck the dolts are calling themselves this week ) & their media lapdogs the past year.

Two sides to every story & whingeing to someone called “Caitlin” whose knowledge of football wouldn’t fill a shot glass isn’t helpful. Let’s see “Caitlin’s” work shall we. Caitlin Fitzsimmons | The Sydney Morning Herald

LOL - thanks Caitlin for your insight. Now fuck off back to “social affairs”, whatever that is.

So… the NSWNPL and QLDNPL have announced their best teams of the season for a 'All-Stars" game. (Call it what you want basically)

Venue: Perry Park, Bowen Hills, Brisbane
Date: Saturday 12th December
Kick-off: 7:00pm

"The squad was chosen based on performances throughout the 2020 NPL NSW Men’s rebooted season and pleasingly all players accepted the honour immediately.

In working with Football NSW to finalise the squad, Wilkshire was eagerly anticipating the blockbuster clash against Ben Cahn’s strong Queensland outfit."

"Former Socceroo star Nathan Burns has accepted the role of Assistant Coach working under Wilkshire with the team set to be managed by Mark Stavroulakis of Football NSW.

The squad will now commence training using Football NSW’s Valentine Sports Park in preparation for the game before departing for Brisbane the morning of the match on the 12th of December.

The National Premier Leagues NSW Women’s team will be announced early next week, having suffered the withdrawal of many fine young players who have had to decline their selection either because of W-League commitments or being included in a Young Matildas National Team camp."

Cahn’s cunts? How very Queensland.

I thought we’d heard the last of Twat and Butters. Christ I hate Queensland.

So they’re doing a state of origin?

In case anyone wants to, here’s a link to the game NSW v QLD. It happened last night… 12th Dec 2020.

No spoilers.

The womens equivalent is there too.

Probably explains why everyone has left xanthi then.

Wonder if it was all just a vehicle to get money overseas without raising too much suspicion.

Oh dear, the news for Sydney Olympic gets worse.

Marconi aren’t much better.

These fuckin’ clubs!
And people wonder why the NSL had to be binned and we started over with brand new clubs :man_facepalming:t2:

Fines and 6 points deducted for both Rockdale and Sydney United for the incidents at their match back in April.

Geez they addressed that incident pretty quickly

Is that 6 points deducted and a further 6 points suspended?
