NSW Premier League 19/20/21/22/23/24

That’s how I read it

Yeah. 6 points for the 2021 season, plus an $11.5k fine for both clubs.

Suspended 6 points and an 11.5k fine for both clubs in the 2022 season. If either club decides has another incident, they’ll get another 6 point deduction and fine.

Both clubs also have to play their FFA Cup games behind closed doors next season.

All NPL cancelled for this season. No promotion and relegation. Comp structure next season same as this season.

So the reorganised three division NPL just pushed back one season more?

Looks like it, staying with with four tiers.

No real surprises. There’s no way they could finish the season in a full lockdown, and it’s not like they’re able to organise a hub to complete the games in.

One of the many unfortunate but unavoidable realities of getting through this current time. No begrudging this decision, just disappointed in the circumstances in general that made it a necessity.

Totally. Dully had a great team this season so for selfish reason it would have been nice to see them play in a final for the first time in ages.

Disappointed for the Mariners as well who were heading for promotion.

On the flip side, with the loss of points from Rockdale it means Manly came third. Great season from them.

Was the new structure meant to be in for this season, pre-covid?

Next season. Was supposed to be a sixteen team comp in PL1

So that means another season in NPL2 for WSW yeah?

Yep.

Also means another season of NPL4 for Fraser Park.

New pitch and construction at Cromer looking pretty good… Decent crowd in as well to watch the Manly v Sydney United NPL game as well.

Amazing end to the NSWPL season with Olympic and Manly on the same points with Olympic claiImg the title with one extra goal in their differential. Marconi and Blacktown were one point behind.

In other news Patrick Zwaanswijck will be the new coach of Manly and Ian Crook Technical Director.

Mariners have won the NPL2 premiership. The three points deducted from WSW’s tally because of the RBB has cost them the title.

Both Mariners and WSW in NPL1 next season.
