Same. I want Aus to qualify only for some of the players’ chance to go to a WC (especially Grant and Arnie) but would otherwise prefer we didn’t and I can mostly avoid this soft power exercise for this other bunch of cunts.

Yeah David’s playing at Lille and will be at a much bigger team soon. Those are the two main players but theyve still got players at some decent clubs such as Hutchinson (Besiktas), Eustáquio (Porto), Larin (Besiktas), Ugbo (Troyes in Ligue 1) then then Hoilett and Laryea in the Championship

Big mornings batch of all or nothing qualifiers.
Still a few live ones on on Africa, but notably Senegal did Egypt on penalties again and the “Po-Po” in Europe are also through.
In a few hours we get to find out who’ll put the final boot into our own floundering campaign which has exhibited all of the qualities of one of those Russian tanks which ended up half buried in Ukrainian mud.

Nth African teams are absolute masters at it, which is why I was on team Cameroon.
Also turns out, no pennos. I though golden goal wasn’t applied in ET, but seems it was. All over in a whimper.
Best bit was Eli Mengem was in an Algerian cafe watching the match on a dodgy stream and the place emptied out to celebrate qualification after their late goal and the stream froze. Pyro and everything, the full Kerem Bulut basically. I hope they get a couple of hours celebrating in before the cold cold slap in the face from reality.
