The 7 commentary has been a bit revisionist after the goal. Apparently we’re just happy for the Danes to have midfield possession now. No problem at all!
And every time they praise someone it’s a proper commentator curse.
We’ve definitely let them back into a game, without giving too much away, will become very unsustainable the longer the game goes on.
That goal celebration was as loud as I can remember at this stadium, up there with the Asian Cup final.

van Egmond is a gaping pressure hole in this team. In no way convinced the nice touch every 10-15 minutes compensates in any way for the ease that teams play around her. It has to be sapping energy from the ring of players around her.

Could be super effective if they can release early balls when she has the run. There were two or three against Canada where if the ball had been released she would have been 1 on 1 with the keeper.
Someone other than Raso should go through that really angry Dane…reckon she will lose the plot if it happens again.

She’s the best footballer in this squad - and I include Kerr in that to be honest. Kerr is a monster goal scorer and thats so rare but Foord just has everything.
