Sydney take their 2.5+ goals per match streak to 9 matches on the trot. At least there’s some consistency.

Least he could do given it was his absolutely atrocious hospital pass of a throw-in that caused the turnover.

I invite everyone to join me in the western halfway concourse on Wednesday night, to hurl abuse at Uffie again.
It’s getting to that point. People have been super frustrated at our recent home games and if we can’t beat Perth comfortably it’s that period where Corica was losing the fans all over again.
It’s a shame - 20k last home game and we’re so bad, feels like we’re wasting fan goodwill, at least we have won our two big home games this season I suppose.
Second time in 3 weeks scoring lates goals and getting a result will paper over the schmozzie of a performance,
Next home game i might Klimala a camping chair, maybe a book, give him something to do because clearly our current tactics dont offer much help for him.
Before even thinking of the striker, it would be helpful if our midfield could string more than a handful of passes together. Something they struggled mightily to do in this game. It might be lucky that they face Perth next, and perhaps they can get their shit together then.
I will raise you, Pedj Bojic.
Wasn’t Pedj Bojic pretty much busted by the time he came to us?
So yeah, absolutely thieved a point again, we were clearly second best for the first 75 minutes and given Newy’s squad and resources that should be ringing alarm bells at Sky Park.
Taylor deserved his goal, super fitting he blew by a lazy / snoozing Grant given how much joy they had down their left all day. Love Grant to death but he was every bit as poor as JCP today and only the armband saved him getting the hook too (can’t fathom shuffling him to CB and bringing on an even worse De Jesus at RB though).
Goals were nice at least. Don’t think anyone else mentioned it but my boy JK deserves a wrap for his insane feet top of the box that led to the corner that Caceres then equalised from. I could complain about Uffy all day but he’s actually worse than Corica at leaving subs too late.
If memory serves me correctly Pedj had an injury that wasnt diagnoised properly by Anthony Crea, turned out alot worse then thought once it was realised
None of the midfield trio played well at all today and that really was the problem. Endless passes backwards before really soft/overhit passes to no one, followed by losing the 50/50s.
Right now I reckon we’re the most bizarre team in the league and almost unpredictable. Not really sure how Talay changes it, a loss against Perth and you do wonder a bit more about next year.
The crazy thing is if we do manage to beat Perth. (Obviously our ability to do that is in doubt)
Then we aren’t really in a horrible position in the table
As the captain it is your job to lead from the front, set the example for the rest of the team and motivate them to perform.
Grant’s effort in defence on their second goal was so pathetic I would’ve hooked him and taken the arm band off him.
Is it any wonder no one else out there looked like they could give a fuck?
It’s not the first time this season that his defensive output has been severely lacking and if that’s the kind of leadership he’s going to provide it’s no wonder we’re playing as poorly as we are.
It’s amazing that Nick Carle is 2nd on that list.
I listened to the first half delayed while I cooked dinner.
Didn’t feel the need to watch the second. We basically have zero creativity with Costa not playing - there isn’t space without him and we generally just fucking suck.
I might watch the highlights just so I can vote, otherwise I’m happy to take someone else’s ratings.
I don’t think I’ve ever not at least considered attending a home game, but when the message went out last night in our group chat it was easily dismissed.
