They’ve had more possession, but all in their half. Almost ¾ of their passes have been in their own half.

Ah well, I guess we’ll agree to disagree then, maybe my expectations of us are high but to me I feel like they’re currently well on top and we’ve been well below what should be our standard.
We look very good, probably the best we have played in our recent run of games. Incredibly unlucky goal to concede, which started by giving away a dumb free kick in a great position.
Anyway we should still be good enough to win, we actually have deserved to be winning imo.
Looking a bit tired which is understandable. I’d like to get some young fresh legs on.
Lolley looked to have taken the foot off the gas at about the 35minute mark. Hopefully just conserving energy.
Well if I end up being wrong then im wrong. But thats how I see it at the moment.
I’m claiming it if he gets one more.
Harps is right about us looking a bit tired though after Wednesday. Hopefully Talay makes his changes a bit earlier than normal
Where does that graph come from?
ZdJ has done alright in my book. Not the kind of youngster we are likely to get a big transfer fee for, but gets back and prevents a cross in a way Rhyno hasn’t managed of late, like the last foray for Doka.
Likewise for Rhyno at CB.

I actually thought the first 35 was as good as we’ve looked all season.
They haven’t threatened us much and their goal came off an unlucky deflection. I reckon we can get this done second half
I’d say that tracks with what I thought watching it. We’re seeing more tactical fouls this week than desperation fouls.
Biggest issue is distribution from grant and hollman putting us under pressure. Caceres and Sena are moving the ball too slowly, mariners defending with 11 in their third. Lolley is fantastic and all, but its always going to be hard work to create clear chances with this type of game.
King and the Jesus have done alright I think. Great learning curve for ZdJ - kid is still only like 18yo. I wish Caceres would give him the ball more, it feels like we are deliberately avoiding letting him join the attack.
From that angle does look like a very intentional pass from King
One thing that annoys me with that though is that it scapegoats Gurd slightly. Grant comes in and gets additional cover in midfield and looks better. Now it might be a move which considers Grants struggles wide (and keeping the captain in the first xi) as much as it does the defense in general recently but it does leave a slightly sour taste.
I’d like to see us get Anas more involved. He was heavily involved when we were on top at the start of the half but as the half wore on we got him less involved and looked a bit devoid of ideas as a result.
