Are children under 5 free entry for A-League matches if they don’t occupy a seat? I’ve read this somewhere before and my 4 year old has come to some home games before without a ticket… but can’t find this basic info anywhere… cheers.
Not cancelled.
when you buy a ticket this is on the page:
Seems generic and probably a bit outdated, you could always chance your arm and not buy one and see if you can get in, very unlikely to sell out so could buy a ticket at the gate, or to be honest the person checking tickets might just let you through. Is there even contact tracing anymore?
Thanks. That’s the last place I thought to look
SFC home games have different conditions it seems:
Junior: 4-16 years inclusive, 0-3 Free on the knee
Charging a 0-4 year old is harsh IMO…
Is there a scheduled Cove march to the ground/trains to Parra this evening? Not on the Facebook or anything so just checking.
It’s on The Cove instagram, think it’s the latest post.
I’m just getting to central so it better not be!
Just bought my ticket with a PAX of 14595. If their members turn up (they won’t), it might actually be a decent crowd.
15k seems to be the general guess at the moment, I would say anything above that would be good. They seem to always way overstate their crowd numbers though, from memory last derby was 23k and I swear it was half empty (except our end which was fairly full).
Anybody expect any pro-Russian or anti Trakta dickheadery from the other end tonight? I get the contradiction of both happening but it wouldn’t surprise me with that lot. Also wouldn’t surprise me to at least see one or the other at a minimum.
Given their penchant for anti-Jewish slurs whilst being owned by a Jewish Australian entrepreneur anything is possible.
Something homophobic on Mardi Gras night is equally likely.
But fuck ‘em, 90 minutes of Where’s your famous USB / Mark Rudan, Australia says no etc
Just bought a couple of tickets to Pax 15,878. Much of the place seems to be booked out. If 6,000 of their members turn up on top of Pax and reasonable weather seems plausible, there could be a further 2.000 match day tickets sold. Brings it to c. 24,000 and a reasonable derby crowd in the circumstances.
The fact that we are not travelling well and that they had had a good record in derbies recently, may increase the WSW fan interest.
Don’t want to give the PAX haters PTSD but…does PAX include members? I bought tix somewhat early and my PAX was around 9,000. Suggests that members may already be factored in. It’d make sense as if all their members turn up we’re looking at a crowd of around 16,000 as it stands, but it’s probably more likely maybe 80% of their members turn up for this one, but then balanced out by the fact that a few thousand may still buy. Ticketek also do weird things, I remember last derby looked practically sold out then last min ticketek released thousands more tickets and everywhere in the stadium was available.
Either way it does seem to have some momentum, hoping for high teens crowd which I will take given both teams are kind of floundering and the horrific weather of the past week.
Alcohol free corner sold out, family section with limited seats only (wasn’t able to get 3, but 2 was fine).
We haven’t had an away derby win since 18 December 2018, which was the 3-1 win at Homebush.
It was rain delayed and Vedran got a red card for handball outside the box. We conceded first but scored 3 after Vedran went, and this was the goal that gave us the lead:
LOL, the WSW fan in front that immediately gets up and leaves.
I remember leaving Parramatta disappointed a few times. Didn’t realise it had been that long.
Won’t be going tonight. Was going to, but been slogging through painting and renovating for the babies room, and I’m completely knackered.
