Round 22 - City vs Sydney FC - 6/04/22

Long term substance. Not a fly in Popovic.

Are yarraside or whatever their school carnival troupe are called these days, really doing the cove songbook word for word?

Any team that hit the heights we did was going to have a decline. If anything he did amazingly to slow it and stretch out our success longer than most teams have done in this salary capped league.

What makes you think he’s going to come up with a new structure? If he hasn’t done it yet he’s not going to!

Ah well we’ve had a good 6 year run I’m not going to stress over 1 disappointing season.

He’s not very good.

He worked his way out into making the GF 3 years in a row so he might not be so bad. We might have won 3 in a row if it weren’t for Brattan’s red too.

Why did he need to when we’ve made finals or won trophies in just about every season hes been in charge before this one?

Is Kisnorbo speaking English?

Because any coach worth his salt has a Plan B.

You have a point. Footbal fans are fickle as hell. However, many of the fans have noticed a gradual decline over the last few years, till we got to this point, where we are a mile off challenging the best team in the competition. Sure, we lost Joel King earlier in the season, but if anyone had a belief that Corica will truly fix this over the off-season, nobody would be calling for his head. He is tactically inflexible to a point that it hurts us. At least with Arnold, you had some hope he would analyse what went wrong and act accordingly. I just don’t see it with Corica, and I’m sure many fans feel the same way.

We’ve tried to persist with Warland but he has not improved. We got Donachie, who has not starred at any A-League club. I guess was meant to be a squaddie but because Warland hasn’t improved, Donachie has played more than planned. If we wanted to win the league, we had to go and get a good foreign CB. Other clubs have, why not us?

So, who’s bringing the psychedelic drugs to Gosford Saturday? Might as well have fun.

Which is why he deserves next season to see how he innovates.

It makes no sense to make major change when we’ve been the most successful team in the last 5/6 seasons and his worst season before this one was finishing second and losing the final.

I see both sides. I agree there seems to be a lot of pent up anger here tonight lol.

He’s speaking a lot more than Corica, who appears to be standing around watching the seagulls - which is great motivation for a team who has shipped 4 goals.

City could be sitting back and relaxing, but Kisnorbo is engaging with the players, making them work harder despite being 4-0 up. Corica appears to be thinking about how he can describe our performance as 'unlucky in the post match presser.

Even paramount just questioned if I’m still watching this

But he has made major changes.

He’s taken us from the most dominant team in the league ever to one that is losing 4-0 to one of the two favourites.

I don’t know if we deserve that

I truly hope Corica develops his own way of playing more and has a great and succesful managing career, hopefully even back at SFC.

A Legend.

At this time in this league and during these times, he has ran his course.
