Part of me knows your right, but after this heavy recruitment and investment in the squad, plus all the pre season promise this squad had, I just can’t accept that we aren’t in the top 4. Thats why I lose my shit when I watch us be so shit, the expectations were so high this season and there is no logical reason why we are so shit. Even with the inexperienced defenders we started the season with, even that was addressed in January and it still hasn’t worked. This simply shouldn’t be happening.

I’ve been HDM’s harshest critic this season but he’s keeping us in this tonight. Another Joel King disaster class unfolding.
It’s one thing to have a high line, but holy shit do we play with an extremely wide defensive setup a lot of the time. Just acres of space between all four of them.

Not after the club set the standards so high for the last decade. These sort of seasons simply shouldn’t happen here and we should never accept anything less as a fanbase considering the resources available to this club. If they do, heads need to roll ruthlessly, simple as that.
This could still end up being a double winning season.
Tantalising highs. Devastating lows. Blind mediocrity.
That’s why I love this football club. It’s also why my liver and bank balance hate it, but eh.
