Iām not sure what Warland was stepping up for? Was looking away and missed it, but from one look at the replay it looks like the earlier ball was well covered without him. Was he the only one trying to play for offside or something?

You just wander what anyone ever really saw with Warland, he seems to have not ādevelopedā very well at all. And I even mean that physically. He looks slow and gangly as he runs, Lescano outpaced him. His touches are all below average (passing, dribbling etc). Marking also doesnāt seem to be his strong suiteā¦
This seems a pretty fitting conclusion to our season.
Shout out to this older gent, who Iāve seen at every game, who presumably travelled just for this game (We did not) , and who hasnāt stop chanting.

I always thought it was just my irrational bitterness about 2018, and the role his presence played in squeezing out Calver, but maybe I was right (for the wrong reasons)?

The club should shout him some beers & some āroom serviceā at his accommodation. Heās earned it more than any of the players have this season.
