How are we expected to win when all the opposition need to do is play long balls & catch us out.

4-1 win to us. Goals for Segecic, Lolley, Kucharski and Caceres. Cohen with the goal for them.

Definitely a loss, but by how much who knows!

The parallels! Hopefully uffy follows SGE and gets the sack too.

Bloody hell, with just over 24 hours until the game that decides our season, we’re really not up for this are we? It really does seem like the coach has squeezed any enthusiasm out of some of the club’s most fervent fans. Really does not bode well for Uffie season 3 should the club decide that they would rather find his replacement in the middle of next season.

The past 25 games where probably around 20 of them were complete and utter shit are the ones that have already decided our season no matter what happens tomorrow.

We’re already done and I’m finding it hard to be bothered with the farce of making a top 6 in a 13 team comp (with most clubs beneath us being one bad day away from unironically folding). Finishing either 6th or 7th over 26 games in a comp of the quality we have is pathetic and alarm bells should be ringing, but instead we have our own manager effectively leaking to the media that he has already signed an extension. So more of the same to look forward to next season.

The game will likely unfold the same as the one last week did, where we barely trouble CFG and they comfortably beat us.

I’m not disagreeing too much. The one positive I’d take is that at least it has been an entertaining season with lots of late goals, high scoring etc. You generally expect a grim season with a bunch of 0-0s, and 1-0 winds or losses to be the one to wear you down, but this one has not been about that yet has still been a grind, which is a sign of the systemic failings with this team.

It also doesn’t help that there is a real feeling of running aground - tired legs out of running, and little left in the tank. Lolley is done for the season and has had nothing left for 3 months, even Costa is looking far below where he was in the summer. 3 months ago, I would assert that we are not reliable, but we can hurt/beat anyone. Now I couldn’t.

All well said and I agree. It’s not as fun as I thought high scoring games would be in concept. It has been dire watching our team concede goal after goal in the fashion that we do, particularly with the amount of avoidable goalkeeping errors. And when we score one, who really gives a shit when we’re already down by a few or we’ll just concede one in the next 10 minutes anyway.

I am sounding very negative here but has this not objectively been the experience in the majority of our games this season? Some may see it differently but I am usually pretty optimistic about things but that has been my experience. I suppose a less die-hard fan might find it entertaining and our attendances have been weirdly good too.

As bad as we have been this season, we haven’t been beaten by Wests and we are beating the Shame 3-2 on aggregate.

Well bust out the gifs utilising a colloquial expression for heightened levels of excitement then!

The only firing I want to see this weekend is Barlow to Talay:

I thought the game was tomorrow.

Election coverage starts at 5:30. Torn.

We’ll be a goal down by then at least, no problem changing over
