Round 5 - Sydney FC vs Western Sydney - 23/11/24

Very hard to get excited for this one given we played them a month ago today. Still I’m hopeful that a couple of weeks off has meant we can recover from the injuries and have had some time to improve the lagging parts of our game (dare I say shooting practice?)

Win. No excuses, just win. Anything other than that isn’t acceptable. The girls did the job last week, time for the fellas to back it up and put these pieces of shit where they belong.

I wish there wasn’t such a small gap between derbies in the mens league though.

Horrid draw to have this again so soo because of the ridiculous round. If we had to use the derby to prop up unite round figures we didnt need it in round 1 too

You’d hope that lolley and Costa are both good to go. We’re gonna need the A-team at the front because without Matthews at the back there’s no way we keep a clean sheet.

Oh yeah, that’ll make getting to OP on Thursday night a piece of piss too.

Fucking cunts. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

This train strike is fucking ridiculous - going to make the whole weekend a cluster fuck of people trying to get to the Unite round in general

  1. Walk to BWS
  2. Purchase a Carton of beer, the equivalent of 1.2 rounds of SFS beers.
  3. Walk home.
  4. Place beers in refrigerator/esky/chilly bin
  5. Turn on Paramount.

Fuck driving in. I daresay that this will stop a lot of people, especially Westies from coming in.

We might find after two days of utter shite, the government will fold and trains will be back on.

Apparently Costa is good to go but lolly is 50/50 from what I saw on the news

Well Costa likes to play on the right and Quintal likes to play on the left…

It’s a plan so crazy…

Forget rail and bus, Everyone should roll in, aboard a vast fleet of rental scooters.
Strike fear into the hearts of your enemies.

Can we even rent e-scooters in Sydney?

Even if we can’t, we can always arrive en masse on lime bikes, then once there park them across any old footpath, thus blocking ingress/egress around the stadium.
Or we can just build a massive pyre out of them, and set them alight. Depends where the mood is going. It’s a derby, so maybe the flaming pyre

I reckon flags would go alright on a lime bike/rental scooter

I use lime bikes a lot so would prefer if you set fire to one of the other brands. Thanks!

scoots

didn’t really end well then… While i support unionism/communism… It will be a bit shit for football if there is even a sliver of an excuse for people not to go.
