I did it and it was great. Following football across the world is a lot of fun, but it’s football in the end. If I saw a Sanfrecce player and a Sydney player together hanging out, it would not affect me or somehow ruin my day or my life.
Players are human beings that exist outside the confines of the club and the sport. Whatever players do in their time when they aren’t playing, I don’t really give a shit. As long as they aren’t doing crime, it doesn’t really affect anyone’s lives.

To be honest I’m more grossed out by them playing golf than doing it with players from another club.

Better to hang out & play golf than eat cupcakes.
There aren’t that many professional footballers in Sydney, they’re going to hang out with each other occassionally. Also I can confidently say that sometimes you like the players on the other team personally than your own.
Sounding like Lolley and Sena definitely good for Saturday, but still doubts over Costa.
Surely we play him on Saturday and then just leave him at home when we travel to Eastern…
No news on how the backline will look, though apparently Gurd got some minutes in a friendly over the weekend. Can’t see him starting.

Pro athletes are pretty competitive people.
If anything they’d be even more keen to rip their golfing buddies on the football pitch.
