Pitch looks shit but appears to be playing alright.
According to the pre game commentary the turf was sourced front ANZ stadium where it was supposed to be used to repair the damage post the Metallica concert. It had to be used prior to dying off hence the early usage at Kogarah.
I guess that means that cancelled concerts at a venue where we don’t play now affects the surfaces we do play on…
