Round 7 - Sydney FC vs Brisbane - 15/01/22

What a run and pass from Elvis and a great finish. How good is Elvis

Great goal ! Think Brisbane defenders were shocked how he initially broke forward with the ball

Cap Him!!

Great to see his maturation at our club

Bill’s Cousin does us dirty

Redders has to save that

Fuck off!

Come on Redders, gotta save that 1

Back to that Elvis run, it’s the determination after 3 players tried to cut him down and almost lost his footing then to feed Caceres who plays a beautiful outside of right foot finish, that makes it one of the best recent exciting moments i’ve seen. Anywhere in the world.

This commentator says Bobo as ‘Boobu’ - such a very odd pronunciation of what seems like quite a straight forward name to pronounce.

I think it’s time to give up on Buhagiar

Buhagiar is fine as an impact sub but I’m yet to be convinced he’s a starting player at this level.

Did anyone give King a shout on the equaliser? Had no need to head it back into play, needless way to concede, though fair play Brisbane bent us over a barrel for the first 15 so 1-1 about right.

King hasn’t been as good defensively tonight. Not really surprised though, as he’s played every game for us this season. With any luck, he will be given a chance to either be subbed tonight or rested on Tuesday.

It’s great to see how Elvis is coming along for us. Our club’s professional setup is again helping to unlock quality in players that wasn’t moulded properly at other A-League clubs.

Lovely appeal for a pen to avoid the embarrassment of a fresh air swing

Random trivia for everyone, the sideline reporter Bence hamerli and I used to play football together.
He was a reporter for NBN news and when we would finish playing he would make a ton of phone calls, get everything sorted and have the sports report all sorted out for the news that night.

Pretty impressive.

Steve Corica has terrible stubble.

Teetering here. Sleepwalking

Need some subs please

Still no intensity (aside from Elvis) in this team. Something certainly missing, besides Brattan. Caceres often offers an injection of creativity but nobody really seems to be on his wavelength and it just breaks down.
