Any idea when we’ll know specific fixtures? I almost certainly can’t go because match days 1-4 are within a fortnight of an existing trip, but I can dream…
EDIT: Clarifying what I’m actually after. A friendly draw for Match Day 5 or 6 somewhere practical and not-too-cold would be great. Presumably Japan is too cold for me that time of year, not sure how HK gets.

Do the top two in each group go through?
Top 2 in each group go through. R16, QF and SF are all still separated east-west over two legs starting in Feb, and we’ll have the draw in December, so assuming we get through the group there may be more opportunities.
Yeah top 2 in each straight to the round of 16. 16 teams from east, 16 teams from west.
100% - would love to get away for one of the games.

We’d have to beat the teams from Phillipines and Hong Kong… already accepted losing to Sanfrecce… twice.
Eastern (HNG) is not a given. Well, none of the games are.
Was hoping for a Singapore away game but that’ll still be an intereting draw. Imagine Sanfrecce top that easy.
Im look forward to us sitting 2nd for most of the fixtures before a 89th minute own goal in the last game drops us to fourth and out

The other aspect is that we need to do well to try and boost the coefficient. It’s just us and the Mariners in Asia right?
No there’s heaps of clubs, from many different countries.
If we can’t finish a respectable 2nd in the group, may us never enter Asia again.
The state of football support in this country is the dirt worst. The first comments on every social media post about the group is instantly “the club should be ashamed if they can’t get out of this group”
like that’s the first thought? Not how cool to have some fresh opponents, or we’re back in AFC comps?
The race to look on the dark side of things is incredible.
(Not referring to the above post in that, this is SFCU and we have been professional goo traders for nigh on two decades, therefore it is right and acceptable to say such here)
