First round results are in and said tinkering has been entirely validated. Quick perusal of everyone’s teams vs league rules and the first two slices of cheese have been issued to:
Bon Vivant (Annie), and
Laroche (Vincent)
Both have a Victory player in Franco Lino. As he’s only on your benches, did not play and so did not earn any points in round 1, I was only intending to issue a verbal caution. However both your teams also only have a solitary SFC player in Fabio, falling short of the minimum requirement of 3. So yellow cards have been issued, please rectify prior to round 2 commencement… note also that we’re all able to use 5 x Trade Boosts throughout the season, which allow you to make 3 trades in those weeks instead of the usual limit of 2 per week. That should give you both some extra wiggle room if required to fix teams up.
A verbal caution only, no yellow card, also issued to No Delay Special K (Jamie) as you only have the one SFC player in Luke Brattan. Please consider this one as the referee warning against persistent infringement, next foul will see you also cop a booking. I do love a team name that references both my favourite youth player and Placebo song at the same time though.
It’s best not to make changes until just before round 3 as this is when the first player value changes take effect.
The only reason I’d make a change right now is if a player sustained a long term injury, was suspended or not in the squad and doesn’t look like making it for the foreseeable future.
SO I have a bit of a defensive quandary, with Balard being sent off and Aiden Simmons and Javi Garcia both having not played.
Anyone know why Simmons didnt play? Is he out of favour or was in that Young Socceroos group which returned too late for R1.

Yeah it was rough. Made Maclaren captain even after O’Shea did reasonably well against us (was intending for Arslan, but then it kinda had to be Maclaren after he got given the afternoon off).

Traded out Maclaren for Zawada this week.
Figured after last week that Zawada will be increasing in value after this week and Maclaren would be dropping in price.
Looks like that’s come off better than expected and I’ll bring Maclaren back in for Lolley this week.
