Concerningly, Miloš Degenek is the second-highest valued Miloš in the world at the moment according to TransferMarkt.
We could consider him or Veljković as Wilkinson replacement in a year or two?

Degenek already turned out for us 3 times in the 11/12 pre-season, should definitely be on the short list when Wilko hangs up his boots.

Eventually… He’s clever with the ball, he’s quick and can get in there. He’s currently completely wasted on the right wing, but playing in the Ninko position, cutting into the center will give him way more space to move. So far he was 1 assist and 3 goals, whereas Ninko has an assist and a goal. Difference is 200 minutes of game time, granted…
Is he? He’s no Ninkovic. He’s not really on the same level as Caceres or 10’s we’ve had. I’d say he’s direct. Good at running with the ball. Has had some good touches around the penalty area - I’ll admit I’ve been impressed at times - but he’s not got the qualities of a top-tier #10.

And Elvis has been playing as a forward, not in Ninko’s 10 spot. They’re very different roles.
Elvis has been great value. A bargain basement replacement for our marquee and you can see his heads in a totally different place to when he was at Melbourne. But we’re going to have SO much cap space opening up. We need to be making sure we have the premier players in those key positions. We wont need to compromise and try to fit square pegs in round holes. We’ll basically have 3 marquee slots plus about 2 thirds (ish?) of the salary cap to make it happen. If we have all this opportunity and we go into round 1 next season with Elvis Kamsoba as our starting #10, I’ll be a bit gutted.

I’d continue to play Kamsoba as part of the front 2. He’s playing the best football of his life and has one hand on our player of the year trophy. I see no reason to disrupt that.

Kamsoba was on some Dragonball Z shit on the weekend. Some of his twists and turns were jaw dropping, he went from full sprint to quick turn so incredibly fast. Agree to just leave him where he is as he is flourishing.
