6-1 win for our youth at Edensor!
United 58 a bit lucky in the end to even get on the board. Free kick in the 86th or 87th and it took about 3 minutes for it to be added to the screen. Must’ve fallen asleep!

Haven’t been able to catch any NPL this season, but the run so far is pretty crazy, particularly with the most developed of the kids being in Vietnam for ACL.
I assumed it might’ve been an early-season fitness thing like the hot start in 2020 (2021?) which eventually pettered away, but (a) the results only seem to be getting better, (b) doesn’t seem to be replicated at all by the other academy teams in lower divisions.
Hook that into my veins.

My sons SAP team played them yesterday (and thrashed them). My observation was that there were too many Croatians in the team. How can a team from near Cabramatta have no kids of Asian descent? It was a bit sad to see how far their youth had fallen.
