Stream dropped out with about 10 to go.
We looked much better after Quintal and JK came off but it’s rather concerning that the defence is showing the same fragility that we see with the senior side. Gus wasn’t at his best either, quite a few fumbles either side of some decent saves.
Marin France should’ve had a goal and needs to shoot or move the ball on quicker. Quite a few times he lost possession or missed a chance because he took too many needless touches.

On the positive side, Corey Cronin looks to have some potential. If JCP continues to stink it up then I wouldn’t mind seeing him given a run in the first team.

Edit 2: And it’s a WIN. Put’s the kids in to 11th on the table.

Cheers for the heads-up, didn’t know we had a Friday night game until seeing that post, flicked it on for the last half hour… not at all convincing against 9, but tidy finish from Macallister and a big three points.

Good to see Kyle Shaw back on the park post-injury. Had no idea Ayouk was up at CCM now.

Kucharski and De Jesus played the first half against Wollongong today. We conceded in injury time to drop 2 points, 2-2 draw.

Zac Fowler bagged his second hat trick for the 20’s in a 6-1 win.

NPL game today against Sutherland. We’ve just gone up 1-0 just before the hour mark thanks to Marin France.

UPDATE: 2-0 near the final whistle. Mathias Macallister comes off the bench to slot a penalty after he was fouled in the box.

Great first half away to Blacktown. 2-0 up.

Gus rarely tested (one good save) but very tidy with his feet. Back four in front of De Jesus, Shaw, Jared Middleton and Kennedy. One sparrow doesn’t make a summer but De Jesus has been a real positive, for sure having one of his better games both ways.

Kamijo bossing the centre next to Lachie Middleton with Quintal and France wide. Then Lacey looks sorta second striker behind Harbas leading the line. Tiago with the customary few moments of insanely quick feet, joy to watch.

Harbas barely involved but for the opener, great ball straight up the middle by Kamijo put him clean through and he finished nicely 1-on-1. Second goal was a screamer from Lachie M, picked up a loose ball and just went whooshka from 25 yards. Pick that one out.
