Yeah. I’ll already be halfway to Europe so I thought fuck it, and added a week more into my holiday.

Orient still top of the table going into business end of the season, although we have been stumbling towards the finish line the last month, with 4 draws in a row from winning positions against sides in the bottom half of the table.

Massive game this weekend at home to 4th place Carlisle. Win that and it puts us 11 points from dropping out of the autos with a game in hand and 8 matches remaining. 2nd place Northampton (who have an aussie manager) and 3rd place Stevenage play eachother this weekend too, so hoping for a draw. Results going our way, would mean 7 point buffer to 2nd with a game in hand.

Further down the leagues, Wrexham and Notts County are absolutely demolishing the national league. They are both on 97 points, Notts with 5 to play and Wrexham 7. The record point tally in that league is 105. One of them could theoretically smash that record, finish second and then lose in the play offs to a side 40 points behind them on the table. Orient went up in 2018/2019 with 89 points as champions.

They still need to play each other as well, which will make things interesting.

Well we got that draw we wanted from the other game, not a bad game from us, they butched a massive chance to equalise at the end,

Annoyed at Kelman for that send off, that’s not the sort of tackle you make when you are on a yellow already,

Chelsea sack graham Potter

Brendan rodgers leaves Leicester

So Chelsea paid something like 22 million pounds to get Potter and his coaching team from Brighton, gave him a 5 year, 10 million pounds a year deal and sack him 6 months later :joy: I guess Nagelsmann will be next to jump on the merry go round?

and I wouldnt be shocked to see Potter pop up in Leicester

Potter can clearly coach, he ain’t the problem. That club is broken.

Potter’s laughing all the way to Gringotts.

About f*#king time Rodgers left.
He will always be a club legend given everything he’s achieved with us, but this season the dross we’ve been serving up has been truly awful. He has not demonstrated any flexibility with tactics, the same predictable subs each game, and lost the dressing room.

Potter would be a logical replacement but very similar style (possession) to Rodgers, and that has failed. We don’t have the players capable of that type of setup.

Bayern paid a €25 million transfer fee for Nagelsmann.

Get Roman back.

He would have sacked Potter in 3 months.

Even Roman never sacked two managers in the same season I believe

Good chance Roman would not have sacked Tuchel for the reason/s this mob did.

Chelsea at least won’t have to worry about paying anyone a fee if they want him!

They should have buried that, I’m in the stand behind the goal there, so had a great view of it, he did all the hard work.

What a day of results for us though, 11 points from dropping out of the autos now with a game in hand. 8 games to go. I think 5 points basically guarantees us promotion now based on previous seasons. I think 8-10 points will wrap up the title.

Very jealous, havnt been back to Brisbane road in a long time,

I was hesitant a few weeks back when we had that bump in the road, thought we where throwing it away but I’m confident now, just need to stop getting silly red cards

It’s a strange season, the last 10 games we seemed to have had a blip, drawing 5 and winning 5, but the draws being against some weaker sides. Even when we seem to be playing badly, we are top of the form table though, everyone else is just crap and inconsistent this season.

Good to see Orient doing well.

Hamlet on the other hand… It’s getting tight.

Reading accept a 6 point deduction… plunging us from mid table obscurity into the relegation battle.
