The amount of alcohol in a banana is about 0.2% (ABV). Fairly sure the number of bananas you’d need to eat to register alcohol in your system would sooner kill you than get you drunk. Soy sauce, vinegar, apple juice and bread also contain alcohol at low concentration.
You can’t buy heaps normal at a self serve checkout without showing ID. It’s very strange.

Well, last night was awesome, to say the least.
We’ve spoken a bit over the phone over the last few years, and it wasn’t that awkward.
He’s a pretty good guy all up. We spoke a lot about my mum, and how it all happened, most of which I came to the conclusion a long time ago.
But it all honesty, it’s like meeting an old friend (who I’ve never really met, except when I was 6 weeks old). We’re going to do a bit more hanging out over the next week or so while he’s in town. Found out more about my 2 brothers and sister back in Florida.
Interestingly, he’s a Republican, who despises (he went on a 15 minute rant full of vitriol) Donald Trump. He hates what America has turned into, and said if Trump does get in, he’s probably going to move back to Australia.
Being half Cuban, I found out that my grandmother and grandfather were both revoloutionaries, and counter revoloutionaries who fought and were imprisoned over there. My grandfather was apparently spared execution from Che Guevara, because they were once good friends in the revoloution.
So yeah. Many drinks were had, tales swapped. More to come I’m sure.
